Principle to Manage Luxury Black Country Apartment

An impressive 70-unit luxury apartment development in the Black Country is set to be looked after by Principle Estate Management.

The Royal Wordsley Heritage Buildings near Stourbridge began life as a Victorian workhouse before being used as a military hospital in the early 1900’s, and later as the NHS’ Wordsley Hospital until 2005.

Following the Redevelopment and residential conversion by Shropshire Homes, the apartment building was purchased by a private freeholder client – Principle would later secure this contract to manage the building on the client’s behalf.

Commenting on the contract win, Principle’s Managing Director, Brett Williams, said: “We’re delighted to have been appointed to manage this impressive development, and we are looking forward to working with residents.

“This is a great conversion of another former hospital site which is becoming a bit of a theme with recent instructions – we’ve had three in a month.

“Personally, I love both old and new architecture. The architecture here is lovely with the Clock Tower being the centrepiece of the development.

“It is super to see a former institutional building that was no longer fit for purpose, being redeveloped and given a new lease of life.”
