The Birmingham-based customer-focused managing agent, Principle Estate Management, has announced the appointment of an experienced accountant as part of the firms’ continued expansion.

Joining the chartered surveyor led company after 18 years as a financial controller at Jobson James Insurance Brokers, the vastly experienced Paul Richardson will be overseeing all clients’ accounts in his new role, including, managing service charge budgets, the sales and purchase ledgers, credit control and invoicing for rents insurance and service charges.

Commenting on his appointment, Mr Richardson said: “I have been aware of Principle for some time and am delighted to take up the opportunity of being part of such a dynamic team.

“I am looking forward to helping make a real difference as the business continues to grow.”

Mr Richardson is an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, and will also be finalising annual service charge accounts and handling all client reporting.

Principle Estate Management is based at Cornwall House in Lionel Street, Birmingham, and offers a national property management service.

The company has grown to become the UK’s fastest-growing residential estate management business since being launched in 2018 by Brett Williams, the former head of residential property management at CPBigwood in Birmingham, and a past-chairman of AMRA.

Commenting on the new hire, Managing Director Brett Williams said: “We’ve been looking for the right person to join our existing team of staff and consultants, and we’re thrilled to have recruited Paul as finance manager.

“Finance is the engine room of property management, and adding Paul’s skills to our team will allow our personnel to be comforted that we can provide the highest standard of service to our customers.”
