One of South Africa’s leading real estate firms, Pam Golding Properties, has revealed that Pretoria is experiencing an influx of investment that has seen several new residential, commercial and mixed-use developments spring up across the city.
Pretoria was identified in 2018 by the Brookings Global Metro Monitor report as the fastest growing city in South Africa, with the city’s newest security estate (Zambezi Manor Lifestyle) recording the highest price growth in Gauteng for that year.
Commenting on the expansion of Pretoria’s new development sector, Retha Schutte, Pam Golding Properties Pretoria Regional Executive, said: “The massive investments from large corporations and private companies into the local economy in the region are encouraging to prospective buyers who continue to show [a] huge interest in buying [a] property in Pretoria.
“The number of new developments that have come onto the market in the last few years are indicative of the demand for property with a focus on lifestyle and precinct living.”
One of the most interesting and eye-catching developments of 2020 is Pam Golding’s, Magnolia Meadows.
Located in the established Nieuw Muckleneuk suburb, the development has been billed as the firms’ first “green, sustainable, and completely off the grid” development, comprising of just 23 units.
