Demand for safe & secure, family-orientated living continues to prove popular with South African home buyers, according to the latest data from real estate giants, Pam Golding Properties.
Estate living in South Africa typically provides 24-hour security and often features a myriad of community amenities including tennis and squash courts, swimming pools, parks and clubhouses. Unsurprisingly, prices for estates aren’t cheap, costing anywhere between R1 million to R20 million for luxury homes.
According to two of Pam Golding Properties’ Pretoria East Area Specialists, Dean and Donovan Lindique, the most popular estates in the area is ‘The Wilds Security Estate’.
Pictured above, this estate is priced cheaper than most, at R1 million to R7 million, but still offers state-of-the-art security as well as a swimming pool, tennis court and a variety of other community features.
One of the other highly sought-after estates in the area is the Woodhill Residential Estate and Country Club; prices start at R1.9 million for the simplest properties and reach up to R20 million for designer homes. Buyers in the estate also have access to an 18-hole golf course as well as direct access to the on-site, Woodhill College.
