Premier Waterside Development Announces Open Day

One of Nottingham’s premier waterside residential developments, The Yacht Club, is opening its show apartment to prospective homebuyers on 11th December, as works on the exclusive scheme continue to progress.

The 81-home development, which is being developed by KMRE Group Ltd, has garnered significant interest since construction began and is already at 40% sold.

Situated in a prime riverside location to the south of Trent Lane, The Yacht Club will offer residents spectacular views of the River Trent, The Hook nature reserve in Lady Bay and Nottingham City.

One, two and three-bedroom apartments are available, including penthouses, with prices starting from £310,000 to £550,000.

Commenting on the open day, Nick Gould, Director at KMRE Group Ltd, said: “We are incredibly proud to be able to open the show apartment to interested buyers this month, to give a glimpse into this flagship residential scheme that is transforming the site of the former Park Yacht Inn in this idyllic waterside location.

“With many apartments boasting unrivalled views of the river and the greenery of The Hook nature reserve, this development will provide residents with a wonderful waterside living experience with all of the amenities and convenience of city life just a short distance away.

“We remain committed to the Nottingham market and are extremely pleased to see [the] construction of The Yacht Club progress as planned, despite these uncertain times, as it forms a significant part of the ongoing waterfront regeneration along the banks of the River Trent.”

Due to be completed in spring 2021, all of the apartments will offer residents sweeping views of the river, as well as onsite parking and vibrant outdoor communal spaces, with all homes finished to the finest quality, using high spec fixtures and fittings.

The Yacht Club is within easy reach of Nottingham city centre and is only a 20-min walk from Nottingham train station.

With no passing traffic aside from boats, rowers and paddle boarders, the development is serenely central in a well-established neighbourhood with homes already lived in, in the surrounding area. Just across the road is an Aldi and Costa Coffee on the East Point Retail Park, and located a 2.5-mile drive away at Victoria Retail Park, is an M&S Simply Food, Morrison’s, Lidl, Boots and Next.

To cater to these burgeoning waterside residential communities, plans have been put forward for a footbridge to be built over the River Trent, between Lady Bay Bridge and Trent Bridge, in the next three or four years, with government funding in place. A riverside walkway is also expected to be built, which will link up to Victoria Embankment and eventually lead pedestrians and cyclists through to Colwick Country Park.

The opening of the show apartment will also provide the first opportunity for confirmed buyers to personalise and upgrade apartments – with bespoke options to choose from for electrical appliances, flooring, kitchen and bathroom fixtures and fittings, curtains and wardrobes.

Steve Parker, Director at selling agent, FHP Living, said: “Providing an exclusive waterside lifestyle, The Yacht Club is ideally located close to both the city centre and West Bridgford, yet it offers peace and serenity.

“As well as picturesque riverside views, apartments fronting the river benefit from close proximity to local amenities and places of interest, including East Point Retail Park, Colwick Country Park and Holme Pierrepont.

“During these challenging times, we are pleased to be able to open the show apartment for appointments, to give interested buyers the chance to see inside into this exclusive development.”
