Former Midlands Farm set for Luxury Home Conversion.

Construction is underway for the creation of 30 new homes at a former farm in the Midlands.

Marketed by estate agency Nicol & Co, the new development which also features a Grade II-listed barn is located at the Allesborough Farm, in Worcestershire, and is being developed by Malvern Developments.

Commenting on the development, Declan Vaughan, Director at Malvern Developments, said: “This is a superb site where we’re thrilled to have been able to utilise a wonderful Grade-II listed building to convert into one of the prime properties.”

The conversion of the barn together with its detached stables will result in four homes with prices ranging up to £625,000 for a stunning three-bedroom barn with full height vaulted ceilings, floor to ceiling windows and original exposed beams.

Meanwhile, there will be a further 27 new build homes built in the surrounding farmland.

Declan goes on to add: “All units, whether converted or new-build, will be finished to a very high specification and all will have private gardens and parking allocations.

“Potential buyers will be attracted by our stunning designs and high-quality build and will also be pleased to know that the services, schools and shops of Pershore are very close by.

“Pershore also hosts a railway station but with the new Worcestershire Parkway only eight minutes away this opens up a number of excellent travel options. The nearby A44 also provides direct access to the M5 and the Midlands motorway network.”

Georgina McGorrigan, new homes sales manager at Nicol & Co, which has offices and operations in Droitwich Spa, Worcester and Malvern, said: “We are pleased to be working with Malvern Developments on this luxury collection of new build homes and contemporary restored barns.

“There is currently nothing as impressive as this in the area local to Pershore. It’s completely different to the standard layout you might see on other developments.

“This project is something that local people have had their eyes on for some time, and we have already been contacted by down-sizers from surrounding villages, so we know this will be popular.

“With [the] completion of the largest plot, The Stables, approaching we can already see the amazing quality and character within these properties.”
