East Midlands Home Improvements Firm Looks to Expand with Senior Hire

The Nottingham-based home improvements firm, Stromclad, has appointed former employee Paul Young as its new Sales and Marketing Director to lead the company’s ambitious growth strategy.

Paul brings eight years of industry experience to his new role, as well as having worked at Stormclad as Sales Designer for six years previously.

Commenting on his new appointment, Paul said: “Having previously worked at Stormclad, I was very keen to come back on board in a new role to help drive the company forward. The firm has great potential, and I believe that my passion and enthusiasm to introduce new products, consolidate existing products and improve services to customers will contribute to the company’s vision for growth and brand development.

“Unrivalled service and niche products to widen the product range for prospective customers is what we want to provide – I want customers to come to us not just for the products we offer, but also for the peace of mind they get from dealing with a reputable company.

“I have been made very welcome by the directors John Evans and John Brocklehurst and by all staff and sales designers, and in the first few weeks of starting here, I can already see a change in the atmosphere throughout the company. Although there is a long way to go, I am confident that the next few months will show immediate growth, both in sales and in consumer confidence in the company.”

Prior to leaving Stormclad in 2018, Paul was the top producing Sales Designer for four years in a row.

In his new role, Paul will aim to train and coach existing Sales Designers, passing on his vast experience and knowledge of home improvement products.

Managing Director, John Evans, said: “We are so pleased to welcome Paul back to the company in his new role. With his wealth of experience and professionalism, he will be the driving force behind the firm’s progressive marketing and sales strategy. We have no doubts that he will make a success of his new role, and we wish him the best of luck and look forward to working with him moving forward.”

The Basford-based home improvements company Stormclad produces a range of products in the home construction/improvements sector including windows, doors, conservatories and more.
