DM Hall sells 5.96-acre Clyde Valley Housing Association site in Carfin.

One of Scotland’s leading independent chartered surveyor firms DM Hall sells 89-flat and terraced house development for an undisclosed sum.

Acting jointly with CBRE on behalf of The Albert Trust, DM Hall sold the 5.96-acre site within the village of Carfin, Lanarkshire to Wilson Developments.

Graeme Todd, a partner in the Glasgow office of DM Hall who oversaw the sale transaction, said: “marketing of this site began last summer and following a closing date for the receipt of offers, a deal has just now been concluded with Wilson Developments.

“This site had previous planning consent, now lapsed, for the development of 55 residential dwellings. We were confident, however, that a new residential development application would be considered by North Lanarkshire Council.

“The successful bid has secured planning consent for a development of flats and terraced housing, to comprise 89 units in total which will be acquired upon completion by Clyde Valley Housing Association.”
