£14m West Midlands Residential Development Underway

Luxury real estate developer, Urban Village Capital, has begun work on their £14 million Build-to-Rent development in Sutton Coldfield.

Construction and Fit-Out Solutions (CAFOS) has been appointed to deliver the transformative 69-apartment office conversion at Four Oaks House.

Commenting on the development, Urban Village Capital’s Chief Executive Nick Sellman said: “It’s exciting to see work start on our Four Oaks House project which will bring a fresh lease of life to this high-profile building.

“We have instructed CAFOS to deliver the complete transformation of this tired building into what will be a great place for people to work, rest and play. The location is outstanding, being just a stone’s throw from Four Oaks train station, and a short walk to Sutton Park. The many shops, bars, restaurants and community facilities at Mere Green are also nearby.”

Once complete, Four Oaks will become a high-quality private rent scheme, featuring a mix of one and two-bedroom apartments over four floors, with an impressive communal roof terrace.

CAFOS Managing Director Adam Collins spoke highly of the project, stating: “CAFOS is incredibly pleased to have been announced as [the] contractor for the latest in a number of high profile developments being undertaken by Urban Village. We are confident that this project will offer fantastic living space in a very progressive area of Birmingham.

“The opportunity to work with such a forward-thinking developer on this high specification change of use project is very exciting and a key indicator that we are becoming very established in our sector. We are looking forward to completing a high-quality end product alongside Urban Village and forging a great relationship with them.”
